It wasn’t too long ago when we announced that Giganews was going to try to hit 240 days. We had a feeling that they were going to try to do something drastic- something that hadn’t been done with Usenet before, when we asked you how much retention was too much.
Giganews: 365 days retention! They just publically released that they have committed to achieving this, and they’re growing daily towards it.
What! I had to save this post for a few days, so you wouldn’t think this was an April Fool’s Day Prank- it’s just that insane. Compared to other top usenet providers like NewsHosting, Giganews just seems to be too good a value to pass up.
